AI conversations in the Free tier
During the free title path, you receive a unique, one-time AI conversation quota for each Free title โ Stranger, Tolerated One and Welcome Guest.
The quota is tied to the title, not monthly, and does not expire. You can learn at your own pace โ whether two weeks or six months per title.
When you reach the next Free title, its new conversation quota becomes available. If a title's quota is used up, all other Free learning features remain available; additional extensive conversations require Fornava Plus.
After completing the free title path at Welcome Guest, a small permanent Free base quota for conversations may optionally be activated.

Yes. Fornava Free is permanently free to use โ not a time-limited trial. You can complete the full free title path from Stranger to Welcome Guest without a credit card.

How long can I use Fornava Free?
As long as you like. Fornava Free is not time-limited. You set your own learning pace.
How far can I get with Fornava Free?
With Fornava Free you follow the title path from Stranger through Welcome Guest โ including the related stories, tasks, characters, places and AI conversation quotas.
How do free AI conversations work?
For each Free title (Stranger, Tolerated One, Welcome Guest) you receive a one-time conversation quota. It is tied to the title, not monthly, and does not expire. When you reach the next title, a new quota is unlocked.
Does my conversation quota expire?
No. Your title-based quota does not expire. You can learn at your own pace โ whether you complete a title in two weeks or six months.
Can I reach higher titles immediately with Fornava Plus?
No. Plus does not grant titles. It unlocks the rest of the learning path. You must still earn every title through learning, tests, communication and tasks.
What happens to my progress when I switch to Plus?
Your words, dictionaries, learning results and progress so far are preserved. With Plus you continue where you left off.
What happens if I cancel Fornava Plus?
Your progress, words and dictionaries are preserved. The Free area through Welcome Guest remains available. Content and features reserved for Fornava Plus โ the extended title path, Plus stories and extended AI conversations โ are no longer accessible after cancellation. The exact terms will be finalised before launch.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel Fornava Plus at any time. Details are available in the app and in the terms of use.
Does Fornava Plus apply to all available learning languages?
Yes. Fornava Plus applies to all languages supported by Fornava โ German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Lithuanian and Albanian.

How do I sign up?
For the current beta version, please send a short email to info@fornava.com. After your email has been approved, you can set up your login. Registration uses our secure identity service. After signing up, you confirm the privacy notice in the app and can optionally enable AI features, which are required to use the learning program.
Is the vocabulary limited to a specific time period or topic?
No.
The medieval-inspired world is only the setting of Fornava.
Which words, sentences, and topics you learn is entirely up to you.
Whether everyday life, work, travel, climate change, or historical topics โ you can have any conversation and build exactly the vocabulary you really need.
The villagers also understand modern topics and relate them to their own world. This creates natural conversations in a living environment, without limiting your learning to a particular era.
Does Fornava cost anything?
Fornava Free is permanently free to use โ not a time-limited trial. With Fornava Plus you continue your path through Citizen. Find all details in the Pricing section.
Do I need AI consent?
For the learning program โ conversations with villagers, the forge, chronicle, duels, and language features โ separate consent in the app is required. The standalone building and strategy game can be used without AI.
Which languages are supported?
Fornava supports German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Lithuanian, and Albanian โ as a native or learning language in various combinations.
Which devices work with Fornava?
Fornava runs in the browser at app.fornava.com. For speech input and output you need a device with a microphone and speakers. A stable internet connection is required. Soon you will also be able to install Fornava Mobile as an app on your smartphone.
Where are my privacy settings?
In the app under โYour dataโ you can change consents, download a copy of your data, request deletion, or reset device data.
