1. Scope
These terms of use govern the use of the Fornava learning and game platform at https://app.fornava.com. The operator is the Fornava sole proprietorship based in Berlin, Germany (beta phase).
2. Description of services
Fornava provides an interactive learning environment for language learning in a playful, medieval-inspired setting. Features, languages, and content may change during beta or be temporarily limited.
3. Account and registration
A personal account is required for use. Registration is handled through our identity service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and may not share your account with third parties.
4. Privacy and AI
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy notice. AI-powered features are optional and require separate consent in the app. Details can be found at AI & Privacy.
5. Permitted use
You agree to use Fornava only lawfully, not to submit illegal content, and not to disrupt operation. Abuse, automated scraping, or attacks on the infrastructure are prohibited.
6. Availability
We strive for stable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, or technical disruptions may lead to temporary limitations.
7. Liability
Fornava is intended for language learning and does not replace professional language advice or exam preparation with any guarantee of specific learning outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from incorrect use or force majeure.
8. Changes
We may update these terms when features or the legal situation change. We will communicate material changes appropriately. The current version is available on this page.
